me as an instrumentalist

I am an eclectic artist, and my interests are not limited to composition. I regularly perform as an improviser on saxophones with other soloists and as a regular member of the London Improvisers Orchestra. To get an example of my performing style, see me playing in my own piece Mechanical Bees Live Just A Few Minutes.

I am also a classically trained clarinettist, and my love for the sound of the instrument led me to research on the acoustics of the clarinet. Combining my passion for handcrafting wood objects with my knowledge on the instrument, I create pieces for the instrument, available at Elephant Foot Clarinet Bells and Barrels.

I am also a trained conductor and over the past years I have enjoyed working with amateur choirs and orchestra, as well occasionally conducting groups of my students at the Royal College of Music.
